Female factory workers like Charlotte Woodward supported the women’s rights movement due to social inequality, a desire for empowerment, and the influences of broader reform movements, including the desire for suffrage. Their actions were significantly shaped by events like the Seneca Falls Convention. These factors collectively propelled them to advocate for change.
