A unified group of countries, the Communist bloc was located in Eastern Europe. This block had a major country in it like the Soviet Union. The name that NATO gave to this block was Eastern Block. The other countries that were part of this block were Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary and several other European countries. This was a group that was led by the mighty Stalin of USSR. Those people that were not obedient to the communist leaders were either ousted from government jobs or were put to unimportant jobs.
