The American Revolution affected the Native Americans in large ways because following the colonists victory in the revolution they began to expand their territory west and south into Native American lands. The American Revolution significantly affected Native Americans by leading to the loss of their lands, increased conflict, political changes, and cultural disruption. Following the conflict, the new American government and settlers expanded westward, disregarding Native rights and sovereignty. This resulted in numerous challenges and struggles for Native American tribes in the years following the Revolution.
