Savannas is kind of a grassland, however there are many more trees than in a typical grassland which usually has no trees or very small number of them.

The savanna biome is characterized by scattered trees and a tropical climate with distinct wet and dry seasons, while grasslands are primarily covered with grasses and have less rainfall and tree cover. Savannas typically exist in regions like Africa and South America, whereas grasslands can be found on every continent except Antarctica. This distinction highlights differences in vegetation, climate, and geographical distribution.
