Meteorologists predict the weather and analyze it, this varies widely, however, your local weatherman only has to observe information at your local level, however, a Meteorologist working at, say, NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), may have to observe the effects of entire hurricanes over time.

Meteorologists are people that study the atmosphere and types of weather patterns. Meteorologist use satellites and many types of computer so they will be able to predict and study the weather. Some meteorologists appear on television and they announce to the public what the weather will be like on a certain day.
