The new dynasty that ruled China after the decline of the Ming Dynasty is the Qing dynasty. The Qing dynasty came into power in 1644 when the final Ming emperor committed sui-cide as a rebel army gained control of Beijing. This new ruling dynasty descended from the Jurchens of Manchuria who, like the Mongols, were skilled in horseback archery. The Qing dynasty is known for bringing stability and prosperity back to China after a period of decline under the Ming rulers.
