How long did the Battle of Stamford Bridge last?

It started on the 25th of September, and it was one of those mini battles that William fought on his way to England when he was invading from France. So William had to defeating the enemy which was the British Army so that he could become King of England 1066. He was crowned King on 25th of December 1066
