What are ethos, pathos, and logos?

Can I have some examples, please?

ethos- appeal to the audience through the speaker ethos=ethics ex- a child ask his parent why he has to go to bed the parent says because i love you and want the best for you
logos-appeal to reason by using fact logos=logic ex- a child ask why he has to go bed the parent says because your growing and you need your rest.
pathos- appeal to emotion pathos=passion ex- child ask why he has to goto be because the boogey man and the monster will get you
