Frances Willard would be a good choice in my opinion because she was behind the temperance movement, but truthfully it really doesn't matter as long as the woman has background in alcohol or societal problems, or a woman who says a lot of quotes about everything. Hope this helps!

Frances Willard, a key leader in the temperance movement and president of the Women's Christian Temperance Union, would be the best historical woman to quote regarding the societal problems caused by alcohol. Her activism highlighted the connections between alcohol abuse and various social issues, advocating for women's roles in legislative work against alcohol consumption. Her famous quote and efforts contribute significantly to the understanding of alcohol's impact on society.
