Since the formula for the perimeter of a square is 4s then 4s=28 s=7
Now the area of square is s^2=a (7)^2=a 49=a

Answer: 49 feet squared
A square has four equal sides. It the perimeter is 28, then each side is 7 feet. The area is just the side length squared. 7 times 7 equals 49

The area of the square with a perimeter of 28 feet is 49 square feet. This is found by first calculating the side length from the perimeter and then using that to find the area. The formulas used are P = 4 s for perimeter and A = s 2 for area.
