if she types 85 words in a minute then 60 mins in 1 hour 85 times 60= words per hour=5100 5100 times 6=word in a day=30600 so we see how many 1,000,000 go into 30600 so 1,000,000/30600= (divide top and bottom by 100) 10,000/306=32.6 or aprox 33 days

Rachel has typed for approximately 33 days to reach 1,000,000 words, typing at a speed of 85 words per minute for 6 hours each day. By calculating her hourly and daily output, we find the total days spent typing. This involves basic division and multiplication of her typing speed and time.
