Knowing that f(x)=6x-4 and f(x)=26 we can substitute fx as 26 and solve equation 26=6x-4 /+4 add 4 both sides 26+4=6x 30=6x /:6 divide both sides by 6 30:6=x 6=x - its our result

To find the value of A , we substitute F ( A ) with 26 in the equation F ( X ) = 6 X − 4 , solve for A to get A equals 5 .
