First I'm assuming you meant ancient. The main thing Christianity had to offer ancient peoples was that there was a large lower class filled with poor people. Christianity was for everyone, poor, rich, your socioeconomic status did not matter. This is what Christianity offered to ancient peoples.

Christianity offered salvation and a good afterlife.

Christianity provided ancient peoples with a universal acceptance that transcended social classes, hope for salvation, a moral framework emphasizing love and community, and challenged existing social hierarchies. Its teachings offered a promise of a new kingdom where social inequalities would be addressed. These aspects resonated particularly with the poor and marginalized, making Christianity an appealing faith during its early spread.
