e is really just 10, and +7 means it's a positive exponent. So it is 3.82 x 10 to the power of 17. I can't write exponents on my phone, but this is scientific notation.

The standard form of the number represented by 3.82 e + 7 is 38 , 200 , 000 , achieved by moving the decimal point seven places to the right. This process follows the rules of scientific notation, where the exponent indicates how many places to shift the decimal. Hence, we convert from scientific notation to standard numerical representation.
