Ted has to read a book that is 1000 pages long
he read 100 pages on Tuesday On Wednesday, He read twice the number of pages that he read on Tuesday on Thursday he read 396 pages how many more pages does he have to read?
so the solution would be 1000- (100+2(100)+396)=x find x

Ted reads a total of 304 pages across three days, reading 120 pages on Day 1 and 85 on Day 2. After calculating the total pages he read, Ted finds he has 99 pages left to read. This is calculated using the equation 304 - 205 = 99, demonstrating regrouping in the subtraction process.
