Answer:
The Morrill Land Grant was established in July 2, 1862 and was a huge stepping stone for Education in the United States.
It made possible the establishment of colleges by new States. This caused a ripple effect as the new institutions established as a result of the grant were focused on agriculture and mechanic arts.
This established lots of opportunities to many farmers and other people who previously weren’t involved in the higher education process.
