Six people can perform a task in 8 days. If we add 2 equally able people, how long would it take?

1 man does 1/48th piece of work per day then 8 man do 1/6th piece of work per day so they can do the work in 6 days

With the original six people able to complete the task in 8 days, adding 2 more people increases the workforce to 8 individuals. This allows the task to be completed in just 6 days. Therefore, the new total time needed to finish the task is 6 days.
