The sum of two fractions is \(\frac{8}{9}\). The difference is \(\frac{2}{9}\). What are the two fractions?

The answer is 5/9 + 3/9, I got this by thinking, what equals 2/9? I came up with 5/9 and 3/9 so I tried and it was right
