the angle of elevation of shadow from building is 50 degrees tan 50=height of building/length of shadow=h/75 h=75tan50=75(1.192)=89.38 feet the height of the building is 89.38 feet

To find the height of the building, we use the tangent function in trigonometry. The height is calculated using the formula h = 75 tan ( 50° ) , which gives an approximate height of 89.39 feet. This involves using the length of the shadow and the angle of elevation from the shadow to the top of the building.
