What is the diameter of a sphere with a volume of [tex]288\pi[/tex]?

Also, can you show me the work?

The volume of a sphere is 4/3(pi)r^3
V=4/3(pi)r^3 288(pi)=4/3(pi)r^3 Divide both sides by pi 288=4/3r^3 Multiply both sides by 3 to remove the lcd of 4/3 864=4r^3 Divide both sides by 4 216=r^3 Cube root both sides 6=r Therefore the r or the radius is 6
The diameter is always 2 times the radius d=2r d=2(6) d=12
Hope this helps ^_^

The diameter of a sphere with a volume of 288 π is 12. This is found by first calculating the radius using the volume formula and then doubling the radius to get the diameter. The steps include solving for the radius and then using the relation between radius and diameter.
