Buses leave City A and City B every 10 minutes during the morning, repeating the two journeys shown on your graph. On your graph, draw a line to show the bus that leaves City A at 09:20.

How many buses traveling in the opposite direction will this bus meet before it reaches City B?

A bus leaving City A at 09:20 will meet 5 buses traveling from City B to City A before reaching City B. This is based on the assumption that it takes 30 minutes to travel between the two cities and buses leave every 10 minutes. The buses leaving City B would be 09:00, 09:10, 09:20, 09:30, and 09:40.
