There are 9 **rows **would be **empty **or unseated .
What is the unitary method?
The **unitary method **is a method for solving a problem by the first value of a single unit and then finding the value by **multiplying **the single value.
We are given that there are 112 seats in the school auditorium . There are 7 seats in each row . There are 70 people seated , then
We know that 112/7 is 16,
Thus there are 16 total rows .
Then we need to subtract the 7 **rows **that are full
So, 16 - 7 = 9 rows left.
Hence, 9 **rows **would be **empty **or unseated .
