Can somebody help me solve the equation \( Y = 9X + 6 \)?

Asked by Ash022099

Answer (3)

Y=9X+6 (You want to shift everything but the x to the other side right?) So -6 and you have to do the same to each side which makes:
Y-6=9X
Then to leave the x by itself you need to reserve what you've done again so divide both sides by nine to make/
Y-6/9=X
Hope that made sense!!

Y=9x+6 -6=9x (-6) -6/9=x

To solve the equation Y = 9 X + 6 , first subtract 6 from both sides to isolate the term with X , resulting in Y − 6 = 9 X . Then, divide both sides by 9 to solve for X : X = 9 Y − 6  .
