1 foot = 12 inches 2 feet = 24 inches
24 < 30 so the ribbon that is 30 inches is longer

The 30-inch ribbon is longer than the 2-foot ribbon. The 2-foot ribbon converts to 24 inches. Therefore, 30 inches is greater than 24 inches.
