If a rectangle with a perimeter of 48 inches is equal in area to a right triangle with legs of 12 inches and 24 inches, what is the rectangle’s diagonal?

well first 12*24/2 is 144. then , using trial and error, the answer is each side is 12
then, using pythag 144+144 =288 ans square rooted gives answer , around 16.3
