Can you have an unlimited number of equivalent fractions to any given fraction?

Yes, you can. You can just keep doubling a fraction over and over. Example: 2/4, 4/8, 8/16, 16/32, 32/64, etc.

That is correct. You can multiply a given fraction by ANY and I mean ANY scale factor and you will get another equivalent fraction.
