The areas of two circles are \(36\pi\) and \(64\pi\). What is the ratio of the diameters? What is the ratio of the circumferences?

Answer (3)

A 1 = 36 π ⇒ π r 2 = 36 π ⇒ r 2 = 36 ⇒ r = 6 A 2 = 64 π ⇒ π R 2 = 64 π ⇒ R 2 = 64 ⇒ R = 8 2 R 2 r = R r = 8 6 = 4 3 an d 2 π R 2 π r = R r = 4 3

2,304 because if you multiply 36 x 64 is 2,304 if not multiply 2,304 x 36 x 64 and then divide the answer by 36 & 64 the it should be 2,304
