You sell pies at a farmers' market for $7.50 each. A group of 5 kids wants to pitch in equally to share one of your pies. How much will each of them need to pay to buy a whole pie together?

Since they all want to pay the same thing, all you have to do is divide $7.50 by 5 to get your answer, which is $1.50

Each of the 5 kids will need to pay $1.50 to share one pie priced at $7.50 equally. This is calculated by dividing the total price of the pie by the number of kids sharing it.
