You need to get to class, 200 meters away, and you can only walk in the hallways at about 1.5 m/s (if you run any faster, you’ll be caught for running). How much time will it take to get to your class?

Answer (3)

Time = distance / velocity
= 200/1.5
= 133.3333 s.
Thus, the time will be around 133 seconds or 2 minutes 13 seconds.

200/1.5 = 133.33 seconds.
= approximately 2 mins and 13 secs.

To get to your class 200 meters away while walking at 1.5 m/s, it will take you approximately 133.33 seconds, which is around 2 minutes and 13 seconds. You can calculate this using the formula for time, which is distance divided by speed.
