I dont think there is such type of soil. Soil is formed by weathering of rocks and held together by loose force. When any type of soil dries out, it becomes brittle. Thus, there is no such type of soil. yes, it can be clayey because it has higher density, but it does not become as hard as a ROCK when it dries out actually.

Clay soil can become as hard as stone when it dries out due to its fine particle size. This soil type is sticky and pliable when wet but shrinks and hardens significantly when moisture is lost. This hardening makes it challenging for plant roots to penetrate and access water.
