The probability of pulling out two red checkers from the box at random can be found by dividing the number of favorable outcomes by the number of possible outcomes. ;

The probability of pulling two red checkers from a box containing 12 red and 12 black checkers is 46 11 . This is calculated by finding the number of combinations of red checkers and dividing it by the total combinations of checkers. Using combinations, we calculated ( 2 12 ) = 66 for red and ( 2 24 ) = 276 for total checkers.
