Vascular system enables them to live in environment where water is scarce. Thanks to having roots plants can absorb water from the ground.
Vascular system also allows products of photosynthesis to be transported all over the plant.

The vascular system in plants provides advantages such as efficient water and nutrient transport, support for growth, better resistance to drought, and the ability to thrive in various habitats. This evolution has allowed plants to grow larger and become more complex organisms. The presence of xylem and phloem tissues plays a vital role in these processes.
