Diameter of the pie = 12 inch radius = 12/2 = 6 inch area of the pie = 6*22/7 = 18.86 sq. inch which cost $12.55 so, cost per sq. inch = 12.55/18.86 = $0.67

The cost per square inch of the pumpkin pie can be calculated by first finding the area using the formula for the area of a circle, then dividing the total cost by that area. The area of the pie is approximately 113.04 square inches, and the cost per square inch is approximately $0.11. Therefore, the pumpkin pie costs about $0.11 per square inch.
