Write 3/5 and x/60 (x means you don't know it)
Find the number that is multiply to get the product (which is 12)
Multiply it (top x top and bottom x bottom)
Answer is 36 baskets

Everett made 3/5 of his shots which is 36 made baskets out of 60 shots. We calculated this by multiplying 3/5 (the fraction of shots he made) by 60 (total number of shots) and simplified it to whole numbers. ;
