What is true about the function [tex]h(x)=x^2+20 x-17[/tex]? Check all that apply.

A. The vertex of [tex]h[/tex] is [tex](-10,-117)[/tex].
B. The vertex form of the function is [tex]h(x)=(x+20)^2-17[/tex]
C. The maximum value of the function is -17
D. To graph the function h , shift the graph of [tex]f(x)=x^2[/tex] left 10 units and down 117 units.

A trapezoid is a quadrilateral because it has 4 sides. A quadrilateral is not always a trapezoid because a quadrilateral can be any shape as long as it has four sides.
I may not make sense but I hoped this helped! :)

A quadrilateral can be any shape with 4 sides, for example parallelograms, rhombi, squares, kites, and also trapezoids. Since a quadrilateral can be any of these that I just listed, a quadrilateral is not always a trapezoid.

A trapezoid is a quadrilateral because it has four sides, but not all quadrilaterals are trapezoids since they may lack the required parallel sides. Examples like rectangles qualify as both. In contrast, shapes like kites are quadrilaterals but not trapezoids.
