During the classical period, Hinduism evolved from early Vedic practices into a complex religion emphasizing individual devotion and a diverse pantheon. The integration of local beliefs, the rise of the Bhakti movement, and the establishment of temples helped make Hinduism more accessible to different social classes. This transformation established Hinduism as a dominant force in Indian culture and society.
